You need to fulfil the following requirements to open an account:

• be aged 18 or above;
• hold a valid HKID card (either permanent and non-permanent resident; we accept both smart HKID and the new smart HKID introduced on 26 November 2018, except juvenile HKID card or HKID card issued overseas) or a valid Mainland China ID card; and
• hold a bank account maintained with a licensed bank in Hong Kong in your name.
